College basketball meets Hawaiʻi hospitality

College Tournaments Hawaii LLC was formed in 2015 and has grown the Hoops in Hawaii Classic into a premier destination event for small-college basketball.

In conjunction with Sports Travel Hawaii LLC, OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels, Hawaiʻi Pacific University, Hawaiʻi Pacific Health, The Gellert Company, and supporting sponsors, the organization strives to create an exceptional trip for teams on and off the court.

Team package

• Accommodations include a five-night stay, tournament gift, and help arranging discounted team meals and activities with participating partners.
• Daily breakfast and a head-coach room upgrade are included for teams that commit early.
• Flights can be arranged through Sports Travel Hawaii, which seeks group bids from major airlines and negotiates on the team’s behalf. Institutions may use their own approved flight arrangements.

Travel requirements

Official travel parties—coaches, players, administrators, and athletic trainers—use Sports Travel Hawaii for at least the tournament package. The local full-service agency can coordinate lodging, preferred air rates, ground transportation, and activities such as luaus, Pearl Harbor, shows, and water activities.

Boosters are strongly encouraged to travel with Sports Travel Hawaii for team-aligned rates and convenience. Admission to all games and a tournament gift are included for boosters booking through the program.
